Ann Kennedy

Ann Kennedy has been certified as a Real Property Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. For the past several years, she has been selected as a Minnesota Super Lawyer. Ann spent the first 22 years of her legal career at a Big 10 law firm in Minneapolis, where she served as chair of the Real Estate Litigation practice group and was an elected member of the firm’s management committee.

Clients engage Ann for her skill and expertise. They appreciate her thoughtful analysis of legal issues and the context in which they arise. She focuses on finding resolutions that work from both a legal and practical perspective. Ann’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies, including a national railroad company, to small businesses and individuals.

Before attending law school, Ann worked for the State of Minnesota, analyzing legislation and planning for its implementation.

Ann was raised on a family farm in southeastern South Dakota. She attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 1990, Ann graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, with magna cum laude honors. In addition to her law degree, Ann holds a master’s degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
